Our story

We are a family business that started as a hobby in our kitchen in 2017. We came to the United States in 2013 seeking freedom and business opportunities that were denied to us in our home country, Cuba.

As a child, I learned to make beeswax candles with my grandparents, which sparked my love and connection to candle making. As a Cuban immigrant with no relatives and no capital, starting a candle business was challenging. However, the love for candles and the memories of my grandparents gave me the strength, along with my husband, to start this small family candle business.

We began by selling candles to our friends and offering them on consignment to various local businesses, such as beauty salons, nail salons, perfumeries, and gas stations. In 2019, we saved up money and rented a warehouse due to the increased demand for production, although the process was still handmade and slow.

At the beginning of 2020, we bought our first machine to speed up the process and increase production. However, we were surprised by the pandemic and the subsequent lockdown, which affected our business's production and distribution. Despite these challenges, I was blessed with the birth of our first baby girl in July 2020.

When everything returned to normal, the business was ready to expand, and we started increasing our daily production. In December 2022, our second baby girl was born. Our three-year-old daughter knows every step of the process and is always happy to help, while our youngest is the "nose" of our business, enjoying the task of checking the samples.

Currently, we work constantly to maintain the best quality in our production and are always trying new fragrances to expand our library. We are very happy with the positive feedback from our community, which motivates us to keep improving.
